Since this module concerns the muscular system, there are many hands on opportunities for students to learn the muscular system via practicing on the different activities we have provided. In career technology courses, the careers having to do primarily with the muscular system could be under the physical therapy umbrella, sports medicine, the occupational therapy canopy and possibly speech therapy. Since it would not be prudent to use all of these therapies, we will concentrate on occupational and physical therapy hands on activities. The other careers will be studied in another future module. There is a big overlap between PT and OT, so most of the activity that we will learn can apply to both. This module consist of 15 student activities and 3 assessments.
